Duke Mansion Wedding – Courtney + Will

This was such a fun wedding. Courtney and Will are SO easy going, and made this day so enjoyable for me. Courtney’s smile lights up a room, and I didn’t see it disappear from her face all day.  Her gown with pockets and asymmetrical adorned strap was to die for, and her wedding ring — which was her grandmother’s from 60+ years ago —  was the perfect vintage touch. Here are some favorite from their Myers Park soiree.

Moraine Farm, Beverly MA Wedding – Vicki + Adam

Vicki and Adam’s wedding oozed New England charm.  They were married on a gorgeous, crisp June afternoon at the Estate at Moraine Farm in Beverly, Massachusetts, a beautiful historic home set among gardens along the shore of Wenham Lake.  Hydrangeas, peonies and baby’s breath were prevelant everywhere – from the bouquets to the centerpieces in milk glass vases that lined wood farm tables.  Vicki and Adam both smiled ear to ear all day — their happiness was contagious, and it was such an honor to share this day with them.

Charleston, SC Wedding – Amanda + Aaron

Amanda and Aaron’s intimate wedding celebration was everything a wedding should be – unfussy and simple. Genuine and sweet.  The two’s love for each other was at the core of the entire day.  The pair got ready TOGETHER, which I absolutely loved.  He zipped her dress. She tied his tie. They joked and laughed, opened gifts, and shared in the anticipation of their wedding day TOGETHER. It was perfection.

Since it was just the two of them and their parents, the gazebo at White Point Gardens right along the Battery was the perfect ceremony location.  Their nuptials blew me away. Each memorized their entire love notes to each other, and tears flowed from everyone’s eyes (including mine!).  Afterwards, we spent time wandering the charming Charleston streets for some portraits, then enjoyed a carriage ride around the city, which landed us at the Peninsula Grill where the group enjoyed a simple dinner al fresco, complete with bottles of bubbly and a small cake adorned with their new initial.

It was an honor to photograph such a meaningful day for these two. Thank you Amanda and Aaron for inviting me along for such a gorgeous celebration of love! xo
