Raegan + Corey – The Ivy Place Wedding

Reagan and Corey were high school sweethearts. Their love is so honest and real, and I was so lucky to be there to capture their day.  They love the outdoors, so Ivy Place was the most perfect venue for their wedding.  The whole day was sprinkled with little bits of their personality — like the very special ring Raegan wore from her grandmother, and her grandfather’s bible with their rings tied to it, which he carried with him during the war.  All of these details and more, help explain who these two are and how much their family means to them.  They also had horseshoes and greenery scattered among the tablescapes and hanging from the chandelier in the reception tent, and a country/bluegrass band that had their guests up on the dance floor.   It was an amazing day to witness and be a part of.  I am thankful everyday for couples like Raegan and Corey who ask me to be there to capture it all. xo

Paige & Richie – Fort Mill, SC Engagement Session

These cuties are getting married tomorrow, so I thought it was the perfect time to blog their sweet engagement session from last fall.  Fall light = love. I just adore these two and their sweet hearts.  Their wedding at the Dairy Barn is going to be delightful.

Melissa + Lawrence – Charlotte NC Elopement

OK, so this wasn’t an elopement in the true sense of the word… both Melissa and Lawrence’s families knew they were getting married, and they actually both had their best friends present — but I am calling it an elopement because it was basically just them in a quiet garden on a Thursday morning.  It was such a perfect celebration of simple love.  Melissa’s mother MADE her wedding dress by hand. It was simple and elegant and fit Melissa just perfectly.  She created her own bouquet from fresh farmer’s market flowers and did her own makeup.  I loved how unfussy the whole morning was at Morehead Inn.  After the vows were exchanged, everyone sipped bubbly toasted to the happy couple in the Duke Mansion rose garden.  Immediately following the ceremony Melissa and Lawrence took off for Mexico to celebrate their honeymoon!

Leslie-Ann – Separk Mansion Bridal Portraits

Leslie-Ann is about as sweet and southern as they come.  She has the kindest heart and such grace and elegance.  We shot her bridals at the Separk Mansion. I love that place! Such southern charm.  Looking forward to sharing favorites from their Daniel Stowe wedding two weeks ago!
