Kara and Martin were married on a gorgeous June day at Old Salem – a historic settlement in Winston-Salem with a museum, gardens and gorgeous visitor’s center. The charming little village felt like we had taken a step back into the 1700’s when the town was settled. The brick buildings and unique architecture made for the perfect setting for Kara and Martin’s wedding day.
Their color palette of pink and navy was one of my favorites, and their centerpieces were so very unique. Kara and her MOH scoured Charlotte antique stores to find each and every unique blue and white chinoiserie vase (or teapot, pitcher, teacup – anything that could be a vessel for the beautiful array of pink blooms)…. and there were LOTS!
After many years of being “long distance,” (Kara in Charlotte and Martin in New Orleans) Kara is moving to New Orleans to settle in with Martin. I am so happy for them and wish Kara and Martin all the best as they begin their new life together! Congrats! xo
