There’s something magical about a Lowcountry wedding… maybe it’s the draping spanish moss, or the ocean waves against the salty, sticky air. Kerri and Drew had a little bit of both in their Hilton Head wedding. A vacation spot dear to both of them, these Chicagoans hosted a beautiful soiree amongst the oaks and the ocean that Hilton Head is so well known for. Kerri’s Martina Liana gown was a showstopper (and can we talk about how much she looks like Reese Witherspoon!?), and all of their flowers were arranged by her sweet cousin. The whole wedding was a family affair, as Drew’s Mom and Dad, Kerri and her family all had a hand in the decor and styling of the day.
Their casual beachside reception featured everything from fried chicken and grits, to authentic low country boil and peach cobbler. The party was led by DJ Jake Butler and an awesome electric violinist — something I’d never seen before, and it was awesome.
A huge thanks to all of the wonderful family and vendors who helped make their day special;
